Des Powell is a consultant with significant senior executive and consulting experience in both the private and public sectors.  He  works effectively with CEO's and Executives to deliver pragmatic and value added outcomes.  Projects carried out  demonstrate a capacity to diagnose and cut through complex problems and issues that cross multiple organisational or policy boundaries, and offer clear and pragmatic solutions that clients can execute. 

A particular niche is working in the interface between private and public sectors.   This brings together extensive experience across both sectors that add value.  Such work can relate to policy and programme development, establishment of agreements and facilitation between the parties. 

Experience ranges from developing effective and practical  strategic and business advice,  evaluation of  business  models in complex environments, contractual and commercial  arrangements,  institutional and governance advice, policy development, effective stakeholder engagement and negotiation  and effectively, implementing  change. Des brings a range of skills, style and methodologies that enable him to engage and support teams in a way that encourage leaders to own and lead the change. Particular experience is evidenced in government, transport and logistics, natural resources, regional development and education industry sectors.
